CHESTNUT SPRAY BRN/GRN 145 CM

The leaves are feather-veined and have a serrated leaf margin. The fruits are leathery, shiny brown notes. Usually three of them are together in a yellow-brown, spiny, fairly large fruit cup (cupola). These open with four valves. The spines are a kind of defense against premature attack by birds and squirrels.
